Welcome to our Web site. By using our site, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use. Please review the following terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this site. The term “SimpleSites” or “us” or “we” or “our” refers to Paper Follies, the owner of the Web site. The term “you” or “your” refers to the customer or client.

Agreement on web design services ordered

1. We agree to design your website, print your stationery (if you purchase the stationery option), and provide you site update and maintenance services (if you purchase a site maintenance option), or any other additional services as detailed in your paid order and our subsequent communications.
2. We agree to use HTML/XHTML coding standard as per established by the World Wide Consortium in the design of your website to ensure its maximum compatibility  and operability across browsers.
3. While we will work with you in organizing the content for your website, we will not write its content entirely from scratch, especially when it comes to specific of your organization's (e.g. mission statement, services or products or project description, etc.). You are responsible for providing any major descriptive contents and for all appropriate industry research to define the target market for your website. If you only have hard copy of such content (e.g. content is on actual paper instead of electronic files) we can provide scanning service of your paper content for an extra fee.
4. If installing 3rd party applications (e.g. shopping cart, blog, forum, etc.), we will consider your specific preference  (if any) of brand of such applications. Should we encounter problems with installation of  your brand choice,  we will propose alternate 3rd party applications with similar features and functionality. Should you refuse the alternative, we will discontinue the installation process and refund the 3rd party application installation fee.
5. We are not a hosting company therefore we do not provide domain name or web space spaces/hosting services.  If requested by the client, we can recommend names of domain/hosting providers. Be aware however that we are not affiliated with any provider, even those we may recommend. Those recommendations are based on industry reports about overall customer satisfaction with these companies. You must keep in mind that every one's experience with any company may vary.
6. We agree to submit your site to all major search engines once it's completed so that it may start generating incoming traffic.
7. All fees for services rendered are payable at the time your order is placed unless other arrangements have been made and agreed with us.

Copyright

The content, organization, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion and other matters related to Simple Sites protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary (including but not limited to intellectual property) rights. The copying, redistribution, use or publication by you of any such matters or any part of the Site is strictly prohibited.
 

Linking to our site

You may provide links to simplesites.paperfollies.com, provided that:

1. You do not remove or obscure, by framing or otherwise, advertisements, the copyright notice, or other notices placed on simplesites.paperfollies.com.
2. Your site does not engage in illegal or pornographic activities, and
3. You discontinue providing links to our site immediately upon request by us.

Entirety

You agree that this Agreement, the rules and policies published by us are the complete and exclusive agreement between you and us regarding our services. This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether established by custom, practice, policy, or precedent. If any disagreement arises from the service, you agree that all applicable laws of the State of Florida apply.
 

Legal age

By engaging in a contract with us, you attest that you are of legal age to enter into this Agreement, which is 18 years or older.

ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT. BY ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH US, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO ALL ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU HAVE INDEPENDENTLY EVALUATED THE DESIRABILITY OF THE SERVICE AND ARE NOT RELYING ON ANY REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT, GUARANTEE OR STATEMENT OTHER THAN AS SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT.
